At Abbott Law College, we are committed to supporting academic excellence and ensuring that deserving students have access to quality education. Through our scholarship opportunities, we aim to recognize and reward outstanding achievements.

ALC is dedicated to promoting academic excellence and making education accessible through its scholarship programs. These scholarships support deserving students by providing financial aid and empowering future legal professionals. We offer two types of scholarships: merit-based for high achievers and need-based for students requiring financial support.

Merit Based

Merit-based scholarships reward academic excellence, supporting high-achieving students in their pursuit of quality legal education at ALC.

Need Based

Need-based scholarships provide financial assistance to deserving students, ensuring access to quality legal education at ALC regardless of financial constraints.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Minimum 80% marks required in intermediate.
  • After admission, scholarship will be reconsidered every year based on candidate’s performance.

Application Process

  • Candidates must fill out the application form below.
  • Shortlisted candidates will receive a confirmation call.
  • Selected candidates are required to visit the campus for a validation interview.

Amount: 60% concession in monthly fees for one year (assessed every year).

Need Based Scholarships

Eligibility

  • Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial needs through submitted documents.
  • Applicant must show consistent efforts (65% marks) in academics throughout the year.

Application Process

REGULATORY TRANSPARENCY

Scholarship Terms, Conditions & Renewal Policy

Official institutional guidelines governing merit awards, need-based financial aid, and continuous eligibility.

Scope & Applicability

  • Scholarship fee concessions apply exclusively to tuition fees.
  • One-time admission registration, Hazara University examination fees, and annual library funds are non-exemptible.
  • Awards cannot be converted into cash or transferred to another individual.

Semester Review & Academic Standing

  • All scholarships are subject to mandatory semester-by-semester performance reviews.
  • Merit scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.00 (or 65%+ marks in university terminal examinations).
  • A minimum of 80% lecture attendance across all registered law modules is strictly required.

Grounds for Suspension or Forfeiture

  • Academic failure or a "Supply" in any paper results in immediate suspension of fee concession.
  • Any disciplinary violation, involvement in misconduct, or breach of the college code of conduct warrants permanent cancellation.
  • Submission of false income data or fabricated credentials leads to retroactive fee recovery and expulsion.

Renewal & Verification Protocol

  • Recipients must submit their verified semester Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) within 10 days of university result declaration.
  • Need-based applicants must furnish an updated verified income certificate or salary slip annually.
  • Kinship discount requires proof of ongoing enrollment of both siblings.

Institutional Financial Aid Committee (IFAC)

All scholarship quotas, waivers, and hardship appeals are evaluated independently by the 5-member Institutional Financial Aid Committee comprising the Managing Director, Senior Faculty Representative, Registrar, and Chief Finance Officer. The committee’s decisions are final, impartial, and documented in official minutes.
